Undress Your Skin by MUA

All your answers to achieve a flawlessly radiant complexion!

The beautz from MUA have released a great new range of super affordable products to help you achieve a flawless looking make up look.

The range includes three base products and also an amazing neutral eyeshadow twelve pan palette. I popped along to Superdrug a while back when the products were fresh on the shelves to give this range a go. I have previous experience with MUA products and always find them a delight- the heaven and earth eyeshadow is one of my faves.

Primer: Just one pump smoothed over your skin creates a smooth base ready for the application of your foundation. The silicone based gel fills in pores and fine lines to prep your skin to perfection. I like this product, but I don't LOVE it. My favorite primer of all time however is the very pricey, high end Hourglass Mineral Veil primer (thank you Wendy Schwartz!!!). I agree that it smoothes the skin, but the aid of foundation staying power is questionable. Can I really complain when its priced at £5.00?? No.

Highlighting Powder: This lightweight baked powder glides over skin when applied with a light hand equipped with a stippling brush. I choose to apply with my MAC 187 and dust over the high points of my face- cheek, brow bone, bridge of my nose and cupids bow. This product could rival the famous MAC mineralized skin finishes for a smidgen of the price. It creates a beautiful opulent luminescence for just £3.00!!!

Undress Me Too Palette: This palette is a great addition to my ever growing collection of nude shadows. I am a neutrals girl at heart with a strong affection for shimmering inner corner highlights a soft golden/ bronzey tones on my lid. I may even push the boat out and go for a smokey gunmetal of an evening! Eccentric I know! Great smooth shadows with amazing pigment pay off for a drugstore brand. My faves are Shy, Wink and Obsessed- some bloggers are even rivaling this palette to the famous Urban Decay Naked palettes! You can't twist to arm to make that bold of a statement, BUT I do love it and for £4.00 you can't go wrong.

Have you tried this new range from MUA? Are you a neutral eyeshadow lover like me?

Liz.

All items can be purchased from MUA website. 3 for 2 on all new face products.

Beauty Review: Liz Earle Healthy Beautiful Skin Facial

On a mild and murky Friday morning, the Three Amigos (Sarah, Grace and I) headed of to Chelsea to indulge in a bi- annual treat, a Liz Earle facial.

This was Sarah's first time trying the Liz Earle skin care, but the Mother and I have been avid followers of their skin care philosophy for years. The facials are always a delight, and on this trip we decided to the try the 60 minute long 'Healthy Beautiful Skin'.

The facial included a double cleanse, exfoliation, lymph drainage massage, mask and moisturise. My favourite part of the facial was in the intense chest and shoulder massage, whilst my cleansing clay mask developed.

The lymph massage medium used was the Liz Earle superbalm- an all purpose product which is great for spots, bites, dry skin, irritations, the works! The massage really improved my skin circulation, puffy eyes and tension headaches. I thoroughly enjoyed my facial, I left the London treatment rooms with smooth, buttery, glowing skin- so much so I rebooked for the exact same treatment in three months time!

The Liz Earle 'Healthy Beautiful Facial' is available at both the London and Guildford salons, it lasts 60 minutes and costs £70. I recommend booking three months in advance and they get booked up super quick. Check out their website here for loads more treatment and product info.
